The concentration & contact times of ANOTEC ingredients are listed on the following registers as being effective against Novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19:

 > EPA;

 > US FDA;

 > ECRI

The World Health Organization (WHO) has named the COVID-19 outbreak associated with transmission of the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 a public health emergency of international concern.

On March 3, 2020, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published List N: EPA's Registered Antimicrobial Products for Use Against Novel Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2, the Cause of COVID-19. List N includes products that meet EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.

All healthcare providers, including (but not limited to) hospitals, ambulatory/surgical centres, long-term care facilities, physician practices, clinics, and dentistry offices, should be assessing their preparedness and identifying antimicrobial products effective against SARS-CoV-2. The U.S. Centres for Disease Control and Prevention's (CDC) Interim Infection Prevention and Control Recommendations for Patients with Confirmed Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) or Persons Under Investigation for COVID-19 in Healthcare Settings states:

Routine cleaning and disinfection procedures (e.g., using cleaners and water to pre-clean surfaces prior to applying an EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectant to frequently touched surfaces or objects for appropriate contact times as indicated on the product's label) are appropriate for COVID-19 in healthcare settings, including those patient-care areas in which aerosol-generating procedures are performed. Products with EPA-approved emerging viral pathogens claims are recommended for use against COVID-19.
